Welcome to Briflio. By creating an account or using Briflio on the web or in our iOS/Android apps, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them — they're written to be clear, not to bury you in legalese.

What Briflio is

Briflio is a news and knowledge platform that distills the day's stories, perspectives, and ideas into a single calm feed. It surfaces curated news across categories (World, Technology, AI, Business, Science, Culture, Health, and Sport), brief quotes and sparks from books and thinkers, and a community space where members can post short takes and pulses.

Your account

• Eligibility — you must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• Accuracy — provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate.
• Security — you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Let us know immediately at hello@briflio.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or to manipulate the community is not allowed.

Using Briflio

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Spam, scrape, or use automated tools to access the platform without permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the service or its infrastructure.
• Post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

Content you post

When you post a take, pulse, or any other content on Briflio, you keep ownership of it. By posting, you grant Briflio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and reproduce that content within the platform and in connection with promoting Briflio (for example, in screenshots or social media previews).

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not share personal or confidential information about others without their consent.

Third-party content

Briflio surfaces news articles and knowledge items from external sources. We link back to original publishers and do not claim ownership of their content. The views expressed in linked articles or in community posts are those of the respective authors, not Briflio. We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of third-party content.

Intellectual property

The Briflio name, logo, design, and original platform content are owned by Briflio and protected by intellectual property law. You may not use them without our written permission.

Disclaimers

Briflio is provided “as is.” We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content on the platform. News information is curated from third-party sources and may not be current or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Briflio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

Privacy

Your use of Briflio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to discontinue the service, with or without notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above. Continued use of Briflio after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
